At Love The Garden Australia, we are committed to giving back to nature and take responsibility in restoring the Earth.
Our 2020 Yallaroo Planting Day marked a significant movement towards creating a friendlier footprint – an opportunity to help grow and nurture our local environment.
With over 200 trees of local indigenous species of trees planted, we helped create the first screen planting at our Yallaroo homestead property. Protecting the property and gardens from prevailing winds, the trees planted consist of over a dozen different native species, including Southern Silky Oak (Grevillea robusta), Flame Tree (Brachychiton acerifolius), and Eucalyptus of several species.
Every plant that day was provided with some premium planting compost, along with Scotts Osmocote Controlled-Release Fertiliser for Natives, to give them the best start possible.
Did you know that 1 mature tree will, on average, produce nearly 120 kilograms of oxygen a year?
Imagine what 199 more trees will do!
