- Debco Horticultural Charcoal is chunky and lightweight, retains moisture and loosens up mixes and soils allowing room for root system development
- Charcoal can also be used as a top dress to act as a filter to purify air and water passing through it
- Perfect for growing Orchid Epiphytes, fish tanks and terrariums
- Horticultural Charcoal is organic matter primarily composed of carbon
- Ideally used as a conditioner to improve potting and planting mixes
- Helps with drainage and contains natural phenols which aid in preventing plant disease

- Epiphytic orchid mix
- Terrestrial orchid mix
HOW TO USE
Creates 10 Litres of Mix
Epiphytic Orchid Mix:
- 8L Orchid bark or chip (80%)
- 2L Horticultural Charcoal (20%)
- Blend the orchid bark or chip with Horticultural Charcoal to create an orchid mix for epiphytes
Terrestrial Orchid Mix:
- 8L Regular potting mix (80%)
- 2L Horticultural Charcoal (20%)
- Blend regular potting mix with Horticultural Charcoal to create an orchid mix for terrestrial orchids
Application in mixes: Add Debco Horticultural Charcoal to potting and planting mixes at a maximum rate of 10% of the overall mix
