Buffalo, including the many soft-leaf varieties, is an overall hardy grass for Australian gardens. However, it may take longer to repair itself than other grasses and can lose its colour and vitality over the colder months. This easy-to-use liquid lawn food is specially formulated to bring out the best in your buffalo lawn year-round.
When to use
FEATURES
- Buffalo is easy to apply liquid and its nutrients are readily absorbed
- It goes to work immediately and is effective whether it is absorbed through leaves of grasses or roots
- The 1L Easy Sprayer fast hose-on application bottle is perfect for small to medium-sized lawns, covering up to 150 m2
- Buffalo is phosphorus-free, which means it can be safely used anywhere in Australia without posing any risk to ground or surface water
- Children and pets can safely re-enter lawn areas after application
SUITABLE FOR
- All lawn grasses including all varieties of buffalo, couch, Santa Ana couch, kikuyu, bent, fescues and carpet grass
- All grass substitutes such as dichondra (also known as pennywort or kidney weed), lippia, zoysia
NOT SUITABLE FOR
- Buffalo is not recommended for use on plants other than lawn grasses and lawn substitutes, however, if there is any overspray it will not harmyour garden plants
- Do not use on lawns less than 8 weeks old - from germination of seed or installation of instant turf
- Do not use if the temperature is expected to exceed 30 degrees C - wait for a cool spell
HOW IT WORKS
- Unlike most liquid fertilisers which are readily washed off plants, Buffalo binds to leaves, stems and soil particles and will not wash off once dry.
- Easily absorbed, soluble nitrogen results in rapid greening within days of application
HOW TO USE
How much do I need?
To determine the size of your lawn, multiply the length x width in metres 1 large stride = approximately 1 metre
How do I apply it?
- Shake the bottle well before attaching to the hose - ensure the thumb switch is in the OFF position first
- Tighten the hose connector on the handle prior to connecting the hose; turn the hose tap on
- Slide the thumb switch to the ON position to feed and green your lawn or slide to the WATER position to just water your garden
- Walk slowly using a sweeping action to evenly distribute the spray over the measured lawn area (the bottle should empty in approximately 7 minutes)
- For accurate dispensing check the handy view strip on the side of the bottle
- When finished, switch to OFF position and turn hose tap off

WHEN TO USE
- Buffalo may be applied at any time of the year, although results may be slower during Winter
- Best applied after mowing
- Do not apply when temperatures are expected to exceed 30 degrees and rain is expected

The Easy Sprayer is manufactured to deliver the product at a dilution of 85 : 1 (85 parts of water to 1 of product). This ensures the 1L hose-on bottle will cover up to 180m 2 with an effective supply of fertiliser
When the Easy Sprayer bottle is not being used or is being carried/transported, ensure the thumb switch on the handle grip is in the OFF position to prevent leakage
