Description
Pleas are relatively small insects. They can be difficult to catch as they will quickly hop off their hosts if they feel threatened. Despite their size, they can hop for some distance and quickly hideaway. Fleas are often bought into the house by your cats or dogs.

General tips
Ensure your animal and its bedding are regularly treated with a suitable flea product from your veterinary centre. This should stop the problems. Furnishings and carpets can also be treated with a suitable spray from your veterinary centre.
